However, I for one, have had enough! I have decided to make a stand against the ‘British weather’, I will not let it dictate my summer wardrobe, I refuse to spent my entire summer months in a pair of jeans and my winter coat. As a collector of all things vintage, when attending weddings I always go full out in the vintage department and tomorrow is no exception. I am wearing the most beautiful, vivid, emerald green, vintage dress, that I found in a thrift store a good few years ago. The embroidered silk and the clean 1950’s cut of this dress makes it a real joy to wear. I am adding a tutu to the underneath of this dress to enable the skirt to kick out a little, plus when the evening draws near and the party begins, I will be more suitably attired! I am accessorising my look with the most feminine hot red, bow suede shoes, vintage lace gloves and a beautiful 1950’s side hat complete with veil and pheasant feathers.

The day after the wedding I am attending a BBQ at the new brides house. Weather permitting, I will be wearing my new summer crush dress and I am so very excited to be giving it, it’s first outing!
