Jackman Stabs Stuntwomen

Hugh Jackman has revealed that he accidentally stabbed a stuntwoman with his metal claws during the filming of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. As per Digital Spy the incident has forced film , bosses to rethink how to film the scene after Jackman, 40, hurt Rebecca Romijn’s stunt double. “On the very first film we had real metal claws and the girl who was playing Mystique, Rebecca Romijn, her stunt double and I were doing a fight sequence in the Statue of Liberty the Daily Telegraph quoted,” Jackman as saying. “I went to stab her in the arm, which was part of the choreography and she’s meant to move her , arm away and she forgot and the thing went right into her arm, like an inch. I was stunned.” He adds, “It was one of those things, it was so deep, there was a hole, there was no blood coming out and then like a minute later, it was like a geyser. I thought she was going to freak out, but she just said, ‘Yes! I have been stabbed by Wolverine!’ “Typical stuntwoman.” – ANI

Nicole Kidman has once again been voted the ‘Most Fashionable Aussie,’ in a new survey.
According to the annual Rosemount O Summer Style Index, the actress grabbed the title beating former Miss Universe-turned-TV presenter Jennifer Hawkins.

Cate Blanchett was at the third spot, followed by the world’s sexiest man Hugh Jackman, the only male in the top 10. Wrapping up the top five was singer Kylie Minogue.

Beyonce Controversy Over OSCAR Performance

The 27-year-old singer was performing a duet with show host Hugh Jackman at LA’s Kodak Theatre, where they paid tribute to musicals, working their way through a medley, including hits from Chicago and Moulin Rouge.

But those watching the performance were sceptical as to whether Beyonce, a.k.a. Sasha Fierce, sang live or had some technical help.

“Was Beyonce lip-synching?” the Metro quoted one fan as asking.

Another disappointed fan claimed that she mimed, and did not performed live like Jackman.

“Beyonce mimed. Egregiously. I don’t understand…Hugh Jackman sang live, why couldn”t she?” the fan wrote in a post.

Young Hotties to Host the Oscars

The Oscar bosses are roping in young Hollywood heartthrobs in a bid to attract more TV viewers in a year that has seen a slump in the TRPs for telecast award ceremonies. The latest name to join the list of rising stars who will be seen on stage at this year’s Academy Award ceremony is teen heartthrob, Zac Efron of The High School Musical to present the award for best song and also take part in dance routine with Beyonce and Hugh Jackman, reported E! Online. Other actresses who are a part of the line up are Mama Mia star Amanda Seyfried and Anne Hathaway.
