Oscar winner Kate Winslet has topped the list of Ultimate Natural Beauty by beating movie legend Audrey Hepburn. Winslet was declared as having “a classic English rose complexion without needing lots of make-up to look stunning”. Close to 3,000 men and women took the survey Thesun.co.uk, reports. The 33-year-old Winslet beat out Hepburn. Actress Kelly Brook was third followed by Cheryl Cole, Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson.

“I don’t go to the gym because I don’t have time, but I do Pilates workout DVDs for 20 minutes or more every day at home,” Winslet tells the UK edition of Elle. Winslet also says that she eats sensibly, with the very English assertion that she doesn’t “stuff down chocolate biscuits.”

Going zero-for-five on her previous Oscar nominations, best actress contender Kate Winslet said the experience has given her a “good losing face”. Penelope Cruz, with her second Oscar nomination, this time for supporting actress, said that winning would be great, but she simply wants to cherish the whole Oscar ride.

Robert Downey Jr. has not been up for an Oscar in the 16 years since he earned a best actor slot for the title role in Chaplin. Downey found irony in his supporting actor nomination for Tropic Thunder, in which he is cast as an obsessed actor who undergoes a medical procedure to darken his skin to play a black soldier.

“The funny thing is, I was playing an Oscar-crazed weirdo whose every motivation was somehow geared toward accolades,” he said.
